Rescue Mode
Rescue Mode lets you boot a temporary recovery environment from another disk so you can troubleshoot your server, reset access, inspect files, or copy important data before making further changes.
When to use it
Use Rescue Mode when your server is not booting correctly, you need to repair configuration issues, or you want to recover files safely.
What it does
Your server boots into a separate Linux recovery environment, allowing you to access disks and work on the system without loading the normal installation.
Important
Set a strong temporary root password, complete your recovery work, then disable Rescue Mode once you are finished.
